Consolidated Engineering Laboratories (CEL) is very proud to have retained the on-call services contract since 1990. CEL currently provides on an average, three multi-disciplined special inspectors daily to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) for ongoing projects.
Scopes of services provided by CEL include geotechnical engineering, erosion and slope stabilization assessments including recommendations for roofing, inclinometer readings, pavement analysis, including various materials testing and special inspection for soil, concrete, steel welding, mechanical, and electrical.
Projects include the National Ignition Facility (NIF), Terascale Simulation A Facility, Isotope Sciences Facility, International Security Research Facility, Mocho Pump Station, Energetic Materials Processing Center, Office Buildings 242, 264, 583, multiple re-roof projects, and numerous seismic upgrades.
